2. Registration and Tickets

  • Ticket prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the registration, sponsorship, or exhibitor booth without further notice.

4. Cancellations, Substitutions and Refunds

4.1 Delegate Cancellations

  • Cancellations received in writing more than 30 days before the Event will receive a full refund, less a $50 administration fee.

  • Cancellations received less than 14 days before the Event are non-refundable.
  • Delegate substitutions (transferring a ticket to a colleague) are permitted at any time prior to the Event by notifying the Organiser in writing at no additional cost.

4.2 Event Postponement or Cancellation by the Organiser

  • If the Event is postponed, the Organiser will use reasonable efforts to transfer registrations to the new date at no additional cost.
  • If the Event is cancelled by the Organiser and cannot be rescheduled, Attendees will be offered a choice of a full refund of ticket fees or a credit towards a future humAIn event.
  • The Organiser is not responsible for any other costs incurred by Attendees, Sponsors or Exhibitors as a result of a postponement or cancellation, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or third-party bookings.

5. Programme and Speakers

The published programme, speaker line-up, agenda, and timings are correct at the time of publication but may be subject to change without notice due to circumstances beyond the Organiser's control. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute speakers, alter session content, or adjust the schedule, including the venue, at any time before or during the Event. No refund or compensation will be provided as a result of any such changes.

6. Code of Conduct

All Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, speakers, staff, and contractors are expected to behave in a professional, respectful and considerate manner towards others at all times during the Event, including at any associated networking functions. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any person from the Event, without refund, whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or in breach of this Code of Conduct, at the sole discretion of the Organiser. • Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk. The Organiser is not liable for any illness, injury, loss or damage sustained by an Attendee while attending the Event, except to the extent caused by the Organiser's negligence and to the extent such liability cannot be excluded by law.

8. Photography, Recording and Media

The Event may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed and/or recorded by the Organiser or its appointed media partners for use in promotional material, social media, news coverage and archival purposes. Attendees may not record, livestream, broadcast or publish audio or video of any session, presentation or speaker without the prior written consent of the Organiser and the relevant speaker, except where the Organiser expressly permits this for a specific session. Personal photography for private, non-commercial use is generally permitted, provided it does not disrupt the Event or infringe the privacy of other Attendees or speakers.

9. Intellectual Property

All content presented at the Event, including presentations, slides, materials, branding, and the humAIn name and logo, remains the property of the Organiser or the respective speaker, sponsor or rights holder. Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or use any Event content, branding or materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

10. Privacy and Data

Personal information collected during registration will be used by the Organiser to manage the Event, communicate with Attendees, and, where consented to, for marketing purposes relating to humAIn and its community. 12. Force Majeure

The Organiser will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay arises from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, industrial action, venue unavailability, or other events of force majeure.

13. Amendments to These Terms

The Organiser may update these Terms from time to time. The version of the Terms in effect at the time of your registration will apply, and any material changes affecting registered Attendees will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
